Filming Process

How we set up, film, and deliver every match

How it all works

1

Before the match

Bookings are made by email at info@matchdaycapture.com. We can record multiple matches on the same day.

We aim to arrive at the ground an hour before kick-off. We need a space of approximately 3m × 3m at the halfway line to erect the Veo camera with its guy ropes for stability. Ideally we film with our back to the sun to avoid glare in the footage.

2

During the match

We ask that players, staff and spectators avoid standing between the camera and the pitch. For multi-camera matches, we place a GoPro behind one of the goals and use a tripod-mounted video camera to capture close-up replays for the highlights.

Multi-camera footage is only used in the highlights packages — the full Veo match footage is always single-angle.

3

After the match

Complete teamsheets for both sides let us add lineup graphics to the highlights. The full Veo footage is usually available the same day, with a 72-hour maximum.

Highlights are uploaded to our @MatchdayCapture YouTube channel the day after the match. We can also provide an MP4 for clubs to share on their own social channels.
